Professional ethics

TO INFORM

The Law is in constant evolution. Each day brings changes to legislation, administrative circulars or binding precedents which impact on private individuals and corporates alike.

The Lawyer is able to inform you on these changes and their consequences.

TO ADVISE

A Lawyer is expected to determine the feasibility of your projects in the strict observance of regulation in all the fields of Law (social law, law of personal and collective liberties, law of torts, company Law, income tax law, economic and commercial law, administrative Law, insurance law, environmental law, etc), transmission of your inheritance, reorganisation of your company, defence of your patrimonial or professional interests vis-à-vis competition. The Lawyer, general practitioner or specialist with his knowledge and experience will advise and assist you in all these issues.

TO ASSIST AND NEGOTIATE

A Lawyer assists you in drafting and concluding agreements.

He identifies your objectives and the legal solutions that are appropriate to conclude the agreement.

When a disagreement emerges, even apart from any contentious context, the Lawyer can intervene to try to reconcile the matters prior to litigation.

All the guarantees of confidentiality are ensured within the framework of these attempts of conciliation or mediation.

TO ANALYSE

The Lawyer can establish an objective diagnosis (legal, tax, social audit) of the situation of your company and recommend the possible measures to be implemented.

TO DRAFT

The Lawyer also advises on drafting acts (employment contract, lease agreements, professional or commercial agreements, transfers of goodwill, all legal documents referring to corporate, economic and social activities, private individuals and the life of the civil and commercial company).

DEFENSE

Finally, when a matter becomes litigious, the Lawyer represents and pleads, in front of all the jurisdictions (court of first instance and high court, commercial courts, labour court, court of appeal), in front of the administrative courts and the administrative court of appeal. A Lawyer will represent you before all jurisdictional organisations (Joint and administrative Committees, disciplinary boards). The lawyer is the only one competent to ensure representation before the high court and common law jurisdictions.
